Made in a fruit-forward style, with vigorous red coloring, Pablo wanted to handcraft a wine that would pay homage to one of Argentina’s most popular folktales. Pablo Benavides is a young Argentinian winemaker on a constant quest for perfection. Armed with a technical degree in enology and horticulture, Pablo bucks the boundaries of traditional winemaking, mixing his own unique style into each of his wines with the skill of a seasoned artist. The Story Behind The Wine
One of the most popular folktales of the Mendoza region, and a favorite of Sin Rodeo Wines, this Malbec pays homage to the legend of the mysterious rider who arrived in the Mendoza province astride a horse named Maximus. As Maximus carried his unknown rider through numerous battles, his body proved so impenetrable that it was rumored to be made from the strongest wood. Legend has it that Maximus and his rider still roam the hills of Mendoza to this day.
