Bastien Perrenoud is one of those winemakers who was destined to create great wines. He was literally born in the middle of Chardonnay, which it turns out is actually a village in Burgundy, France. Following in the footsteps of his mother, an esteemed winemaker in her own right, Bastien Perrenoud has made a life-long mission of producing truly stunning Chardonnay in the Southern Part of France.

The Story Behind The Wine
12th Century is the fruit of a vineyard that has witnessed the unfolding of countless stories throughout the centuries. The written history of Château Auzias began as the tale of an ancient Greco-Roman villa, which was destroyed during a battle in 450 AD. The land eventually became the site of the Château's modern-day vineyards, which trace their beginnings back to 1111 AD. After sharing the property with an abbey called the Notre Dame de Pareti-Longi during the Middle Ages, the vineyards witnessed the 17th-century construction of the beautiful castle with which they currently share their grounds.
